Y and AY single-stage, two-stage centrifugal oil pumps
General Overview The AY series of oil pumps is a redesigned and upgraded version based on the original Y series. Developed to meet the needs of modernization and to facilitate the rapid replacement of equipment with a focus on energy conservation, this new product features the following characteristics: 1. The bearing housing components have been updated from the original 35, 50, and 60 bearing housings to 45, 55, and 70 bearing housings, thereby enhancing reliability. 2. The hydraulic flow passages adopt the hydraulic design of high-efficiency, energy-saving pumps, resulting in an average efficiency that is 5–8% higher than that of the original Y series pumps. 3. To ensure design continuity, the structural configuration and installation dimensions of the AY series pumps remain consistent with those of the Y series.

Detailed Introduction
Overview GENERAL
The AY series of oil pumps has been revamped and redesigned based on the original Y series. Developed to meet the needs of modernization and to facilitate the rapid replacement of equipment with a primary focus on energy conservation, this new product features the following characteristics.
1. The bearing housing components have been upgraded from the original 35, 50, and 60 bearing housings to 45, 55, and 70 bearing housings, thereby enhancing reliability.
2. The hydraulic flow passages adopt the hydraulic model of a high-efficiency, energy-saving pump, achieving an average efficiency that is 5–8% higher than that of the conventional Y-type oil pump.
3. To ensure continuity, the structural configuration, mounting dimensions, and performance parameter ranges of the AY-type oil pump are kept identical to those of the Y-type oil pump, facilitating the upgrade and retrofitting of existing equipment.
4. High degree of component standardization, with common components shared across several product series.
5. The material selection is streamlined, with II- and III-grade materials forming the mainstay; bearing housings and other components are additionally available in cast steel and cast iron, thereby providing favorable conditions for use in cold climates, outdoor environments, and marine applications.
6. Bearings are available in three cooling types: air cooling, fan cooling, and water cooling, with the appropriate type selected based on the pump’s operating temperature. Fan cooling is particularly suitable for areas with water shortages or poor water quality.
Performance range of the AY-type single- and two-stage oil pump series.
Flow rate Q = 2.5–600 m³/h, head H = 30–300 m, temperature T = −45°C to +420°C.
The AY-type oil pump is suitable for use in petroleum refining, petrochemical and chemical industries, as well as other applications, for conveying petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas, and other media that do not contain solid particles.

The AY-type oil pump is a new product developed on the basis of the conventional oil pump, designed for equipment modernization with the goal of energy conservation. This pump features the following:
1. Bearing housings 35, 50, and 60 are changed to 45, 55, and 70 to enhance reliability.
2. The design of the wet parts adopts a high-efficiency, energy-saving Y-type impeller hydraulic configuration.
3. The construction, installation dimensions, and performance of the AY pump are identical to those of the Y-type oil pump, facilitating the easy replacement and retrofitting of existing equipment.
4. The common parts are interchangeable and suitable for several pump series.
5. The materials used are mainly Grade II and Grade III. For components such as bearing housings, the material is specified as either cast steel or cast iron, depending on whether the application involves open sites or shipyards.
6. Bearing cooling is available in three types: air cooling, fan cooling, and water cooling, with the appropriate method selected based on the pump’s operating temperature. Fan cooling is particularly suitable for areas where water is scarce or where the water quality is poor.
Performance range:
Capacity: Q=2.5~600 m³/h
Head: H=30~300m
Temperature=-45℃~+420℃
The AY-type oil pump is used in petroleum refineries, the petrochemical and chemical industries, and other applications involving petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas, and other media that contain no solid particles.
